Pack of cooked whole beetroots, 39p at Lidl Northern Ireland.
Lovely just cut up into small cubes with a vinaigrette and some garlic. Add a couple of boiled eggs, maybe some feta cheese, some ham or cold chicken, crusty bread...Gorgeous easy lunch. :)

You are correct . The packs I have were bought some months ago and were 500gm.. Saw today reduced to 250gm .. But still only 29p

The packs from home bargains I have in the fridge at moment are 500gm and contain 4 - 5 beets .

The Tesco packs are only 300g (but still 2nd best value I've found). These packs are 250g - but still the best price I've found on vinegar-free-beetroot, except when Aldi have 500g packs at 39p.
