Asda had 70cl bottles of Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka down to £15 in-store today (was £20), think it's showing as £16 online though? Spotted in Asda Irvine.

The rye distillate is flavoured with a tincture of bison grass (Hierochloe odorata), which also gives the spirit its yellowish color. This grass grows in the Białowieża Forest and elsewhere. A blade of bison grass is traditionally placed in each bottle of Żubrówka, though this is largely decorative.

yes you can buy alcohol much cheaper in Poland (and also ciggarets for example Marlboro for £3) but if you are in UK you have to pay more.... unfortunately. or maybe you can buy return flight tickets for £20 sometimes then you can buy even more than 10 bottles

Pour the 1-2 grass to about 0,5 liters of alkohol (vodka, hooch..).
Let stand sealed bottle in a warm, dark place for about 7 days.
Then add a pinch of sugar, and let stand for another 14 days.
Very popular in Vodka Revolution bars and forms the basis of lots of cocktails from the menu. I work with 3 polish guys and they swear by Bison for quality.

Was used as slang for vodka when I worked in Warsaw. The round was half a bottle. Tea total now!
