No. Just get it from Amazon Germany. It's exactly the same as a UK one, you'll just need to buy a UK kettle lead for about £2 on eBay.
I got mine from Amazon Germany just before Christmas for a bargain price, way better than any offers in the UK. Why anyone would pay more is a mystery to me.
