Slice potatoes into rounds. Cover bottom of dish with them, sprinkle on top some chopped fried bacon and fried onions. Sprinkle on some frozen peas. Repeat, finishing with a layer of potatoes. Pour over stock. Cover, and bake. Take lid/foil off for last 15 mins. Delicious. Even nicer the day after. Have on its own/ with red cabbage. Or use as a pie filling. With or without the addition of condensed chicken soup

Looking for bacon for a quiche and saw this. Very impressed with the taste after removing all of the fat. Definitely buy again.

Just a quick note to say Asda is also selling this at the same price.
These are spot on, bought 3 packs the other day. They were all like streaky bacon, rather than big chunks and loads of offcuts of rind like the usual packs cooking bacon. Will definitely get some more.

I would have thought so since the value range has vanished from their meet range - same with fresh fruit and veg

Yes, looks like Tesco is using the same trick that Aldi and Lidl have been using for years. Give your value range products posh sounding names so customers think they are getting a better product.

Bought this last week and was really impressed with the quality. Pack contains absolutely loads. Once the fat was cut off it was even suitable for bacon butties. Definitely a bargain.
