I'm sure you have a perfect body with a flawless diet. On behalf of all mere regular mortals with budgets, I apologise that this bread is too processed for you. :stuck_out_tongue:

You have to be joking!
Most people in the UK cant cook at all & rely on processed food & believe fish fingers are the real fingers of a fish & a beef burger formed itself via osmosis.

How much do Kingsmill sell it for (to the supermarkets)?

Someone I know worked for Kingsmill (Allied), he told me that it only costs about 5p to make a loaf, and they sell it to employees for about 15p - so you can imagine the mark up supermarkets are raking in!

Never understand brand snobbery. If I lived on my own I'd be happy with reduced tesco bread for a week as I only use it for toast.
Great price, heat added.

Cracking price : I used to eat this all the time 1.50 a loaf you never saw a deal on it cracking bread but recently seen the price drop and the quality, I think it go's stale quick and is more doughy , also warburtons is a big supporter of the tory party , only reason to buy it 50p I would say co op own brand toastie lasts longer and nice bread it is more expensive for this 1 week but 75p standard price .

I made the mistake of buying it once. I thought that given the name it should make reasonable toast, I was wrong it was inedible and ended up in the bin.

Most people don't have the time.
It's also cheaper buying ready made, since it is mass produced.
Warburtons is a lot better compared to the other makes.

Aldi and Lidl sell toastie bread for 45p.
They also do brown toastie bread as well, whereas Warburtons only come in white.
I find that Aldi/Lidi bread hasn't got much taste to it,whereas Warburtons bread smells and tastes more of bread.
Waitrose's Yorkshire champion bread is also very nice but that is £1.50!!
For 50p Iceland Warburtons is a deal.

Will drop by & have a look if they includes the blue (normal) or green (thick) ones.

Never seen the green (extra thick) ones in Iceland before.
Most shops only sell the blue (med) and orange (thick) ones.
Asda sells the green (extra thick) ones tho.Best for toast.
