Will these actually produce fruit in our climate?

Mine does but at strange times of the year.
I bought two that were about 2 ft tall from Tesco for £3 each and had them 2 years.

I've had one for about 3 years - it did produce fruit last yesr, but really small ones. I've had another 2 die over winters - they don't seem to mind the cold, but can't handle really wet soil for prolonged periods.

They will, but don't think about eating any from the tree. They're poisonous.

Certainly not poisonous just very bitter until they are cured or sun dried on the tree.
