Useless. One of those baby gadgets you simply do not need.

The work amazingly, my son is an amazing sleeper and I have used one since he was 2 to help wake him up! He is now 4 and will not get out of bed until "My sun has come'd up" and he is given permission.

I agree, my son ignores it too.

This is amazing. It teaches a child (and works on mine) when its appropriate to get up. If they wake and the clock still shows a star, they try to go back to sleep as they know its not time to get up. This is an amazing product.

Agree with Robj1. This has been a godsend for us. Our two boys (3 and 4) don't get up until the sun is up on this clock (we use it every day). It's especially useful for now coming into the summer months and the mornings get brighter - it doesn't matter how bright it is outside, the boys know that unless the sun is up, there's no point getting out of bed.
The important thing as a parent is not to abuse it - if you set it for too much longer after they might normally get up then they will start to ignore it and it will become useless.

Just picked one up in the Telford store (Wellington retail park) priced at £7.50 hoping it will work for my little girl who insists on getting up at 4 every morning! Couldn't see anymore but there is baby and toddler stuff dotted about everywhere.

I had one for my daughter and it was rubbish. Didn't work at all.
Children wake up when they need to, and sleep when they need to. If they get up too early for your liking then adjust their bedtime accordingly.
