This was posted about a year ago, but well worth reminding everyone that they're still available.
These are genuine Thorntons Chocolates, slightly Misshapen for only 99 pence. They are thorntons because of the Factory address on the packet, and they are same same flavours and styles. Some chocs even have thorntons written on them.
Enjoy!

I also like to live dangerously: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6_IZK-1naY
I sometimes buy the Turners 'luxury' chocolates from Poundland. Worth a go if you like (IMO slightly sickly/fatty) Roses/Quality Street like chocolates for less cash.
Personally I like All Gold, Toblerone Minis and Miniature Heroes. I usually never buy assortments, as they're for quitters not real chocoholics. Straight up bars of sugar/fat wonderfulness like Dairy Milk, Toblerone, Milka. Or value bars. They even make you bend right down for the value bars, meaning you work hard and burn off a few calories to get 100 grams of milk chocolate for just 39p. I buy 'em anyway, because f**k 'em I'm that hard.
My posts amuse me, even if they sometimes don't amuse anyone else.

Not a deal - they are always this price - and you can't guarantee the contents, my last pack had M&S chocolates in them (I know because it was that signature white & milk chocolate lozenge that has the logo on it). Also I've had a few with mint chocolate in them - it only takes one mint chocolate to taint the whole packet!

That's ok, you get a cold vote to use. I thought that 99 pence for 350g of Thorntons chocs was a good deal.

I've just had a look on the Thorntons website, depending on box size and selection, their chocolates are about £15 for 350g (very approx) These are only 99p! £15 in a box, or 99p in a bag. Come on?!

As aLV426 says, they are always this price and the contents can vary BUT it is still a good deal. Only problem is, you can't eat a full bag without feeling sick!

If you are lucky and you get untainted chocolates and they are Thorntons and they are less than 99p then, yes I would say it's a deal. However as I have mentioned before you can't guarantee the contents - I had a pack with honey filled chocolates (don't think there are Thorntons!) and they had broken and coated everything - real sticky mess! My last pack had freeze dried strawberry pieces in blocks of bitter dark chocolate...
Ha ha. Ok, that's a bit cheaper, but they're basic ranges and cheaper chocs. But still, £4 or 99p? I've had quite a few and always been Thorntons. Always. I suspect your Honey thing may have been from a Spring or Easter selection perhaps.
I see you put a lot more effort into criticising deals rather than posting them. Try not to lose any sleep over it. It's just a cheap bag of chocs.

"Luxury" "misshapes"? Nah
Also, I actually bought these before and they were mostly gross, hard, dry, stale, coffee-flavoured chocolates. Yuk!
