A man took 5 of these at tesco till. The till guy asked why so many out of curiosity. He said for fuel for his car. Straight away they canceled the transaction and said this product is not not taxed as fuel so this transaction can go no further. They had an arguement and eventually banned him from coming to that specific tesco

not sure about that, I used to order 30 bottles at a time delivered to my house and go straight to my van, used to have 2500 litre oil allowance per year per household

Well he should take it further its not illegal to run a car on new veg oil.Although most cars after 2000 won't and it would do a lot of damage to a newer engine.

I'm fairly certain the 2500 litres limit still applies before fuel duty is applicable. I used to run on 50/50 veg/diesel (with some petrol added during colder months though my current common rail diesel doesn't like it apparently.
