I have posted this drill under another thread (http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/stanley-fatmax-18v-drill-driver-with-2-x-1-3-ah-batteries-fast-charger-kitbox-64-2424126) but when I went into purchase it today it was on offer for £65 rather than the £85 as shown online. When it scanned it was £85 but when I explained that it was £65 on the shelf and showed the assistant she was fine and charge me £65. I bought mine at the Macclesfield store - I don't know if it is store specific.

Just a guess, but I suspect the model at £65 should actually be the non-hammer version.
It does look very similar.
I think that maybe you just got lucky.

or store-specific? If homebase do that.
£65 is a cracking price to get this, but they have been on sale for that multiple times in a few different shops (but most frequently homebase for some reason)

Either this was store specific or you just got lucky.
Popped into my local Homebase in Coventry this morning at 8, they had the 2.0ah hammer drill for £85 and the other 1.3ah non hammer one for £65 :disappointed:

can confirm with sian, I bought the hammer drill for 85, still an excellent price when you look around for another with two batteries of that size.

Anyone else found this price?

Bought it for £85 in store yesterday, it was the non hammer one for £65. However there is a £5 voucher to be had by completing this survey. paintusapicture.com

A bit out there but can anyone recommend any drill bits for the 2.0ah hammer version?
