It's obvious why people would expect a discount on ex-display goods, especially as in this case it was unboxed. Why should people pay full price for what is effectively second-hand goods? I realise that your group of companies regularly pass off second-hand returned goods as being new but it's not unreasonable for consumers to expect a discount on ex-display goods.
Got a call to say PC World Staples corner only had a display item and not boxed . Guy wasn't willing to budge on price for ex display so I left it. If anyone is still on the hunt for one and don't mind ex display for same price. Was in good condition but he peeved me off.

As a sales colleague, I cannot stand customers that want a discount on ex-display goods. Either buy it at the advertised price or wait for it to come down during clearance. Giving a discount on a £30 item is pointless, much better to give to profitable customers.
