Always a quid at Heron Foods, just shows that the supermarkets are caning people without 'special' offers.

Yep, prewar is right - I've been paying £1 at Herons for about three years.

Not everyone's got Herons near to them they are quite scarce, so this is good if your near to one of Morrison's 500+ stores.

People need to read the ingredients. The Quorn range is extremely unhealthy.

Is there a particular ingredient in them that makes them hazardous to health?

I believe it to be fermented fungus (mushrooms) etc. The thing is, I am newly vegetarian and use quorn as they do plenty of different meals. I mix this up with fruits, nuts and other veggie products, but i've lost 15 lb (weight) since i've been eating this and working out. So i'm going to continue, unless it emerges that it's going to kill me!

Better eat a steak with cheese on top instead just to be safe.

I've been veggie for 21 years and people say it's a missed steak

The frozen ones have hardly any mince and are very poor quality. If these are the chilled ones they are totally different and much better content.
