7 Days to Die releases on Xbox One and PS4 01/07/2016. Base don't take payment until dispatch, so should it drop here (you'll pay the lowest price) or anywhere else, you can obviously cancel, risk free.
It has great reviews on Steam from when it was released on PC back in 2013.
I'd suggest reading some of the reviews, this could well become a little console gem.
Currently priced at £29.99 on Amazon, and £24.99 at 365Games.

It presents combat, crafting, looting, mining, exploration, and character growth, in a way that has seen a rapturous response from fans worldwide. Play the definitive zombie survival sandbox RPG that came first. Navezgane awaits!"
I have it on the PC and it's simply awful (IMO). It still looks like it's in alpha as far as I can see so no idea how it's getting a full release yet. Another one of these crafting games in a minecraft lego world.

I haven't played it on PC so I can't comment. There does seem to be a high level of positivey for the game on Steam (in between the negatives), but I'd be highly surprised at Telltale for attaching their publishing name to a console mess.

As far as I can tell it is still in alpha, that's why I was surprised this a boxed copy and not in the preview programme

I've played a few of these early access survive-em-ups, and 7 Days to Die is the best in terms of playability. The graphics aren't great, but if you can get past that, you've got a sculptable world with genuine challenges, scavenging done right, and a crafting system that works surprisingly well. It's best if you play with friends - me and two chums sank many hours into it last year, but that was after I'd canaried it and already enjoyed it a surprising amount while solo. Well, maybe not that surprising, considering the huge amount of positivity around the game from people who have played it. (It being about £6 didn't hurt, either.)
The Forest would be my second-highest recommendation as a "pre-release" that's already very playable and fun (and also ~£6 on sale). After that, my list from personal experience drops into unfinished potentials - The Long Dark and Subnautica are both good and 'playable' already, but clearly missing a few essentials; 7DtD is far better than ARK in its current unbalanced, unoptimised state, and games like Savage Lands, GRAV and Planet Explorers are still pre-alpha incoherent messes (albeit with potential). And then there are abandoned messes like StarForge.
Hmmmm. Perhaps I'm playing too many of these games. :man:

I hadn't heard of this until seeing this and just watched some vids and I really like the idea. Its basically walking dead with minecraft but with better graphics??
Looks good to me especially at this price!

I'd suggest people wait for the digital foundry preview and see how it performs, technically. After ARK, caution certainly has to be aired for these alpha survival games, handled by a small team, where optimisation is far far far from their number one priority.

From what I have read. This PS4/XB1 version ships with Alpha 14.5. I hope this put this on the box!
I really enjoy this game on PC. Depending on the performance on the PS4 version. I might get it for the PS4.
