As a player of Assetto Corsa, how good is this game?

Looks nice but the physics or not up there with AC or Iracing

AC physics are more accurate but they are both worth owning.

I have had Asetto Corsa from early beta, and Project Cars for a few weeks. PC is far better then AC in every way.
I find cars in AC boring to drive, they are too predictable and too easy with the assists off (and that's not because I'm a good driver), PC handling is far more realistic, so many times I've lost it in a corner and been impressed with how real it felt wrestling the car.
AC tracks are sparse and dull, cars are OK. PC is stunning to look at, everything from the grass to the cars is far better then AC.
Game modes are better in PC, the options are better, as is the setting up of peripherals.
I don't play AC anymore to be honest, PC annihilates it. Although I'm sure i'll get flamed for sharing my opinion :stuck_out_tongue:

If you want a full on sim, stick with AC. I have both, but enjoy them both. Racing is a bit more fun in PC, but more realistic in AC. I'd say if you're a racing fan, theres room for both quite easily. get on the Dirt Rally game too, its amazing!

I saw this on Reddit earlier this morning, Quite disappointing really as they usually charge £15 for it and only dropped it by £1.40.
Good price for a fantastic game though.
Gamesplanet rep did mention Dark Souls 2 is going on sale for a really good price soon but wouldn't give me a date.

I'm hoping it's good. I got one of them Racing wheels on that offer a few weeks back and none of my games are supported on it, so thought I best buy some otherwise that was a waste of money. I bought Dirt Rally yesterday and also got this one. I can't believe I spent £30 on 2 games. I don't think I've ever spent over £3.74 on a game! I think I got a headache coming on, I better lie down.

I think there's a GOTY edition coming out in May... wondering whether to hold off.

Try iracing if you have a PC, generally there's an offer for 3mth for around £7. Best racing sim and community out there. Be warned though it's addictive and can get expensive, but it's the closest sim to real life racing out there atm.

Almost! - The only one left at Currys was the g920. Kind of regretted buying it after as I saw lot's of bad stuff said about it not working properly on a lot of games. Hopefully it will all work nice.
