So uneducated , the guy was a genius, one of the most talented musicians ever....you only have to watch him play guitar, to say he had one good song and not a huge loss makes you look a bit stupid to be honest, please do tell me what you think was his "one good song"

Likely because it maybe seen as a 'sympathy deal' rather then an actual deal' put another way would the OP have posted this last week assuming it was 99p then? Personally not my cup of tea then nor now he's sadly passed over' a true loss to the music industry for sure - that doesn't necessarily change people's tastes on what they see as a good deal though.

you probably need to highlight the fact that although it's only one track it is in fact a full album.

23 Apr 162#4
or it may be going cold because judging by the 2012 reviews this appears to be the standard price for the album on Google play so it isn't a deal. But who can say with HUKD?

I was knew Prince was only streaming his music on Tidal, and really wanted to listen to some. There are many of his available and was astounded by this price. It's a deal any day of the week. And yes I only found it because of his passing. But what an album. And for sure at a bargain of a price.

Heat added. It is £8.99 on Amazon and iTunes just now. It IS an album - there are nine tracks on it and it lasts about 45 minutes. If you don't like the music it doesn't mean it is a bad deal. You just don't want it.
ArthurDent1
24 Apr 161#25
Great deal - but make sure you've already used the 75% off any album before purchasing - seems pointless to waste it on a 75p discount (I used it for £15 off Fleetwood Mac Rumours (Super Deluxe) instead).

24 Apr 162#26
If (like me) you've got a lot of old vinyl that you want in digital format; use The Cameliser add-on for Firefox or Chrome to monitor the price of secondhand CDs on Amazon (it's amazing what you can pick up for 1p plus £1.26 P&P!).
You can then use Exact Audio Copy to make lossless copies for use with a decent hifi for itunes to make MP3 copies for your phone/ipod.
The digital copies you make that way will be much better than ones made from a USB turntable.
Also, you can upload the digital copies to your Google Music library for free and now you can listen to them anywhere (even on your bike if you have mobile data!)
Or you could just get one of these:

What nonsense...
To say or agree he made one good song... come on!
Although I do appreciate it is down to taste, anyone with any remote knowledge of real music would agree that this sort of comment is purely uneducated and just put here to just have something to say...
Interesting to hear what this "one good song" is...?
Even if you just take his hits, he has written some of the best songs in modern popular music history.
He could play every instrument profificiently and to have been honoured to see him 6 times, I can honestly say he is the best individual artist I have ever seen... please bare in mind I have seen over 1000 artists, so it's pretty high praise.
Prince was never one of my favourites, and I only own a small amount of his music, but to write him off as a one hit wonder is delusional.

I'm not a fan of about 90% of Prince's stuff but 1999 and Purple Rain are staggeringly good. Little Red Corvette is one of my all time favourite tunes. The guy was one hell of a talent. One watch of that George Harrison tribute performance doing the Youtube rounds is all you need to confirm it!
