Had mine for a few months now. Starting to get this garbled, messed up screen every now and then. A quick tap and it fixes itself, but worried it'll become a regular thing...

Let Pebble know and send a photo of the display when garbled. Same thing happened to me last month. They sent me a new replacement the next day. Impressive support - just hope the same thing doesn't happen with the new one!

It's such an easy fix to carry out - if you can't return it, that is. Remove back/add paper for pressure on connection/put back on. Not had a problem ever since with mine.

funny thing is, i'm getting enough money next week to actually be able to afford an apple watch but i still want to keep the pebble ..

Love mine. Thought the 7 day battery life was optimistic, but it really does last. Bought mine to do some JavaScript wizardry but not had chance.
