looks like the pc player count is pretty low; only 3,846 online with a peak of 5539.
I play it every night. I love it. It's multi only but that doesn't bother me.

Its not too bad, BF3 has similar stats , Hardline is doing a lot worse.

I had this and got bored of it pretty quickly, spend more time running around looking for action than actually shooting.
Not voted either way as somebody may pick up a bargain and then spend more time running around looking for action than actually shooting

This is a classic example of how to take a 10+ year old series of games which were excellent in their day and totally screw it up for a quick cash in. Avoid like the plague!

This game is the best in the series of Star Wars Battlefront games. I've played them all and none are as immersive. The levels are so well-designed. And levelling your character is fun and gives you something to work towards.

I've played them all and this is crap compared to the first two games. This is just a graphics fest without any of the gameplay of the originals.

I am looking out for a good deal on the season pass every day. I actually want to reward the developers of this game.

If indeed you wish to reward the developers of this game you should pay full price for the game, not wait for a deal.

Sorry BuzzDuraband nice find with the 5 percent and 5 percent is good off anything but £19 is still to much for this game imo, therefore, I haven't voted either way on this. I have to agree totally with other comments, if you buy, don't expect to get hours of gameplay you would from something like Fallout 4. It's fun to be in the world of Star Wars, but after a few hours as a humble footsoldier, the game grows extremely boring very quickly. Maybe the fanatical Star Wars fans will disagree but then I think they would buy anything if it had Star Wars writtten on it tbh.

True. But I am a hotukdealer so conflicted by my need to save money but also rewards the devs. I must be in a minority. I really love this game.

Interesting reactions on here. So I recognise the faults in this game, very repetitive, no autobalance, server lag etc. but am still playing it fairly regularly. My main reason is that it's a game I can play for 5 minutes that looks and sounds really good. And the lack of team balancing actually works quite well some times - you get some good close matches sometimes.
I only ever play Blast and Fighter Squadron admittedly, but I've given up on a lot of other games more quickly than this.

I enjoy this game. It's fun and quick paced. The massive backlash against it was stupid. The Devs are very active and actually respond on Twitter to people reporting bugs and suggesting improvements. Yes it's not the same as the other Star Wars battlefronts. But that doesn't instantly make it a bad game.

Yes, it's a brilliant game. I like multiplayer only. There are many modes. I tend to stick with the blast mode. The levels are beautifully designed, engaging and offer lots of scope for superb gameplay. The graphics are jaw-dropping, particularly the ice. I am fascinated by the rendering of the ice. Controls are great and gameplay is great. I eagerly await the expansions to fight on the Death Star and Bespin. I usually play on 10 vs 10 servers, often full or at least half full. They fill up as the game progresses.
As long as you are ok with multiplay only, I don't understand the backlash this game has got. It's great.

BF3 is a much older game that has been succeeded by BF4 however (with BF5 very much on the way) so it isn't really a fair comparison. At this point in its life it had a huge player count. Hardline is a dead game on PC because it wasn't very good, same as this EA version of Battlefront.
