Love how Nurofen brand the same thing for silly prices, labelling it for specific pains etc. Cold from me, overpriced for what it really is.

This is a fantastic example of people paying for a name. 30p for x16 ibuprofen at almost every shop - except Boots who funnily enough own the Nurofen brand!

Another cold from me. Not sure how there are still enough gullible people out there to vote this hot. But if them buying Nurofen somehow still keeps the cost of my generic ibuprofen down, then all's well and good.

I'll start by saying I buy generic however having worked as a formulation chemist I would like to point out that formulation development is something generics don't put any effort into where as boots who brought ibuprofen to market will have the in house knowledge and investment into the best formulation so these will almost certainly work better. But as I say I just buy generic anyway, however don't write off a chemical product as being worthless if there is a generic available as its not just the drug substance, agrochemical active, paint pigment, etc that is the only thing going into the product
