Have never seen milk this cheap, at least not in my lifetime. Both semi-skimmed and whole milk are at this price.
Always tend to spend £25 and use the £2.50 off vouchers too, meaning 45p for 2 litres of milk!

These type of deals are just wrong. How on earth is it acceptable to do this to the producers. Basically to line the pockets of some fat cat supermarket the dairy farmers will be forced out of business. We will then have to import, thus lining foreign producers pockets. This shows what is fundamentally wrong with our country. People want things for nothing, they dont appreciate where it comes from and how its produced as long as its cheap. The country cannot sustain this kind of manufacturing so its farmed off to another country. Another manufacturing industry in Great Britain goes down the pan and people wonder why we don't manufacture anything anymore. The sooner they bring out free range milk the better. People can then make a conscious choice and support local industry. Stupid deal and cold as the milk its offering!

No wonder Dairy Farmers are leaving the industry, shame on the supermarkets.

I thought this was a glitch in the system as they are usually 3 for £2. Excellent deal.

I wish raw milk cost as much.
They have banned raw milk in UK because supposedly 2 people died in 15 years. And now i have to act like criminal to get raw milk to my house, lol.

It's pretty much only banned for sale in Scotland.
It's a good job you don't work in health and safety. "What do you mean a few people dying in a decade is too many?" :stuck_out_tongue:
It's mainly the risk of infections, some potentially highly contagious, which can affect other vulnerable people around such as the elderly, immunosuppressed, children, pregnant women etc. There's a reason every bottle has to have "This milk has not been heat treated and may therefore contain organisms harmful to health" on it.

If you use their vouchers, a Pint of milk is less than 13 pence. That's 52 pence for 4 pints...rediculously cheap!
