Salon Central have a £1 offer (normally £3 to £5) on at the moment. Trainee hairdressers but do a good job. Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 17:30. Appointments required.

Trainee haircut disasters. Recall the one and only time happened to me. She slipped with razor and put tram line down one side . Thinking it would look better with same other side . Looked worse. so ended up walking out and going elsewhere Ended up getting a Marine style haircut and employer banished me into back office until it had Re brown back.
Don't do it unless you want to end up like this......

I am sure they will be supervised. I used a trainee Salon before and apart from the the head massage and £15 saved no difference to Toni and Guy

If they mess it up a trainer/director will usually take over so it's win win really - unless they mess up real bad! Most academies and colleges do this type of thing or more often free cuts as much more cost effective than buying wigs. Not sure I would trust a college though as don't need any experience at all to start courses and they tend to rush you into cutting. Salons are a bit more selective.
