The white box ones are vegan whereas the red ones are vegetarian. Makes it easier for plebs like me to tell the difference!

Sounds good and I do like the Linda McCartney range (unlike Quorn products which are totally bland ) . Will buy a few packs

I thought it might have been my taste buds. It's good to hear from at least one other person who thinks these (Quorn) products are completely tasteless. Whoever makes them had a fantastic opportunity to create a flavoursome range of veggie items but who seems to think that quantity of different types of product over taste is enough to satisfy us who don't eat meat. That's just plain arrogant. I have stopped buying them altogether now as there's enough in supermarkets' own-brand vegetarian items these days.

Picked up a couple of packs instore earlier this week but yet to try.
They seem to be switching from the red branded box to a white one so they were these and a few others at £1. Of course it's likely to be store dependant but it's also worth noting that Heron also seem to be taking in the excess stock.

Ah well you learn something everyday
Well it's quite evident this pleb had absolutely no idea. To be honest I was only drawn in by the reduced label. Cheers for the heads up

Can't see anything non-vegan in the ingredients in the original post! I think Linda McCartney are just refreshing their packaging as everything seems to be changing from red to white packaging

I'm not vegetarian but I think these sound rather nice. Defo worth a try.

£1 a pack all year at Heron for when Morrisons shove their prices back up.

you're right about the ingredients being vegan rather then vegetarian, the only thing it might be is that there is some text saying 'May contain traces of milk' so they've marked it as vegetarian to avoid confusing the issue, perhaps?
