Seems like a normal price from recent reviews of laptop Ram. I've no idea who would buy it at £37!!!

And a lot of modern laptops need 1.35volt DDR3L. They won't POST with 1.5volt SO-DIMMs in.

There was a post for 8GB DDR SODIMM's from Amazon a week or so ago for about £25. And 8GB Dimm's are always slightly more proportionally than 4GB Dimm's. PC World prices for RAM generally seem expensive to me.

That's because people who don't really know about technology shop at Currys and PCWorld. Most of their custom is from people who aren't great with technology and therefore they make a killing. Just like Maplins, I popped in looking for a PS2 to USB adapter, something that's cheap enough on eBay (54p) thought i'd have a nosey out of curiosity. It was £10, I laughed my way out of the shop. That's extortionate. But people who don't know better will pay for it. It's why they do it.
