Found this in my local tesco today (Coatbridge) reduced from £19.99 to £5 not sure if nationwide. Been looking for something similar for when my little one is poorly as she hates the usual under arm thermometers etc. £19.99 on amazon and argos etc. Has decent reviews. can't go wrong for the price.

We've got this, it's not great.
Readings aren't very repeatable and seem quite inaccurate. Also it makes a loud beeping noise which isn't great when you're trying to get a sleeping baby's temperature

I have a forehead one from some other hand and would agree with other comments that it's not as accurate as the under arm ones

These are awful. We had one - it wouldn't give the same reading twice! In the end shelled out for a Braun ThermoScan instead. Well worth the money.
