Obviously not ocean going, so don't try a single handed around the world voyage in this or try to traverse any rapids!!
I had one as a small child as did my now adult son & now my girls have a couple, they've even had them inflated in the garden for pretend intrepid adventures into the Amazon Jungle (when I say jungle it's actually a couple of potted date palms, a sad looking inflatable parrot & a plastic flamingo that has no legs) but they have vivid imaginations & don't seem to care.

What about a fat kid?
Or is that not politcally correct to call them that anymore?
OK, what about a weight challenged kid?

We had one similar for our kids. It was a sandpit, paddling pool, ball pond, whatever they came up with, really did test their imagination. Heat

NOT rubber - PVC!
Please don't bother the coastguard by using this in the sea. Happens every year but people just don't learn until it's too late.

Haha every time I see one of these now I think of the dreadful job the teams did on the apprentice acquiring the different items between UK and France. Haha hundreds of pounds spent if I remember correctly haha.
