Around the house? What, the kitchen floor and the bath?

Do you need to have an outside tap for this?

It has a standard hose fitting, so you will need a hose pipe to connect to it. The hose pipe can be connected to any sort of tap with the right connector.

I attach my hose reel to my kitchen sink tap with an attachment (from Amazon) and attach the hose to the karcher. Works fine. To attach the attachment to the tap I have to unscrew the existing thingy on the tap (which alternates tap between spray/pour modes). I can't remember the attachment name, but if you google kitchen tap to hose reel then you should find it
