Its possible that your friend might be a mere nincompoop?..
- I got this for £22.34 (TCB)
- This comes with 3 Year Warranty, worst case it can ever cost me is £22.34:laughing:
- £22.34 divided by the 3 years warranty = £7.44 per year (less than a box of cigarettes a year) :stuck_out_tongue:
- Data loss and drive failure is an issue on even the most expensive drives. Rule of thumb, always backup critical data in multiple locations even on the most expensive devices.
- Data failure is not an issue for me as this will be getting used as cache anyway. Now show me 128GB SSD with up to 565MB/s Read and up to 420MB/s Write for £22.34 with 3 Years warranty delivered to my door.
My mate Dave knows a man, that knows a man, who's uncle's friends nephews step son said these drives are awesome.. So if him and his neighbours mate says so it must be true (globally). FACT!
Illuminati confirmed!

Please feel free to post your URLs to all of these supposed high failure rate claims; remembering to include the actual device model numbers that were tested, along with hardware versions and firmware versions just be clear.
Its best to do that, as the last thing you want is other HUKD members thinking you're fear mongering and trying to ruin someone's opportunity to get a deal or the OPS opportunity to get some heat.
Proof please, none of this!

Installed three of these, no problems so far. They are super quick, when compared to a conventional hard drive.

Installed one of these yesterday which I got from the deal a few weeks ago. Getting the speeds quoted in the specs.
Throw away price for a first SSD for those who want to see the speed improvements.

Bought one of these from Amazon, partially paid for using the £15 Amazon voucher from Halfrauds Autocentre (for buying Dunlop Sport BluResponse tyres). Boot time of my PC is now significantly faster than before. Previously I was using a standard hard drive.
