I paid £1.30-ish for a bottle at "half price" in the Co-Op - so this deal of quarter price is a good one.

Wish the sugar tax come early and these sugar concentrates become more expensive. These are free diabetes for everyone.

Sugar causing diabetes is a common misconception. There is a tenuous link between sugar and type 2 diabetes and of course no link with type 1. There is a very strong link between obesity and type 2 diabetes and obesity is cause by excessive calorie intake which usually involves calorie dense foods with high amounts of fat and sugar.
The sugar tax would not apply to smoothies like this as there is no added sugar and there is no evidence such a tax would even work to combat obesity. I think there would be a bit more uproar if the government applied the tax to fruit juices and smoothies.

Smoothies, sold as healthy options, all the while the sugar porks you out and gives you diabetes, while the fruit rots your teeth.
