And get cashback at the checkout. Most shops allow up to £50. The bank only sees the total of the transaction.

I think Halifax cashback offers are awful. i can count about 2 offers last year I benefitted from. other banks offer you cashback on utility bills or the vast majority of retail outlets, yet Halifax offer the same crap every month. if they really knew their customers, they'd be able ti tailor their cashback offers better. Thank god for TCB and Quidco

I disagree, I have used several of the cashback offers and as for cashback on utility bills, I do better with the £5 reward each month on the current account plus £5 reward on the credit card.

I shopped in Iceland once... It was a cross between Dawn of the Dead and an open audition for the Jeremy Kyle show.

Only 5% on mine, handy if I am passing but I don't think I will make a special effort to go there

They have been pretty bad think I have only used Morrisons cashback so far, but will use this for Iceland. Only changed back to Halifax for a free £150 and it wasn't worth it me having the 123 account any longer.

I second that emotion! it must be additional advertising revenue for them rather than actual offers for customers!

I agree. I haven't used any Cashback from them yet. But 10%... I may bite the bullet and stock up on some energy drinks. Iceland do 2 for £1.50 where all other retailers around charge at least £0.99 for one can.
Anyways, Halifax pays me Fiver every month for nothing and that goes for well over a year now. Win-Win

Wish Iceland did gift cards like Morrisons. Was able to make use of the Halifax Morrisons cashback that way!
