Good machine. I sold mine on eventually as it was surplus to requirement. And sold it for more than £100 so a good deal here.
For those interested, it will run linux but it's not the most straightforward to get working out of the box. I did a write up last year about getting it working (google linux mint on HP stream 11 and you'll get the details)

Good price but still hanging out for a touch screen one. Love my yoga 300 and unfortunately so does the wife! Heat though

Does anyone know if the memory and or ssd are upgradable or are they soldered?
Is it mmc (tiny ssd) ?
Win 10 would cope ok with 2gb ram I guess

Unfortunately , no, all hard soldered, but we got the 13 inch one, and it had win 10 already installed, slap a micro sd in the side, or a flush mount USb3 flash drive, and you're good to go.

I bought one for my daughter a while back, and it's pretty good really. The hardware isn't upgradable, but it does have an SD slot which helps, and the upgrade to Win10 was a bit of a pita, but worked ok in the end. For youtube and Win10 Minecraft - it works great.

Do you need the additional features of Windows 8/10 over Chrome OS? If not stick with the Chromebook.
