I understand a lot of people will not be familiar with Grixx but having been the owner of one of their 128gb USB 3 sticks they are actually pretty good.

Lots of people on HUKD appear to forget that some of the most popular brands today (Samsung, LG, Nissan are some examples) were also seen as being somehow less than other established brands (Toshiba, Blaukpunt, are some examples) some years ago.
Kingston were a no-name brand at one point. People took a punt on them, and they grew. Who know which company will be the next big thing.

Agree with that. I remember buying Goldstar VHS cassettes in the early nineties (before they became LG) and they were cracking for the price (bought them at Richer Sounds London Bridge).

I just wish people would post read and more critically write speeds .. fast write speeds are really hard to achieve for cheap prices

That info isn't on the product page though. It's class 10 so that means a minimum of 10mb/s which is sufficient for full HD recording.

The 64Gb version mentions "2 years manufacturer warranty", so I think it will be the same for this.
Btw, I own their 64Gb flash drive & no complaints so far - the fastest USB3 drive I've ever owned (the Sandisk Extreme will beat it for speed, but is more than double the price).
