Nice whisky and good price

Another non age statement whisky. People need to stop buying these or this worrying trend will become the norm....

​NAS whiskies aren't a problem really - some distilleries don't want you to focus on the age, but rather the quality. For example Laphroaig Quarter Cask doesn't need an age statement as the cask is tiny compared to the butts or hogshead casks, resulting in more wood exposure on the liquid, making it mature quicker. The focus is on the quality, not the age.

This particular whisky isn't nice though.

Whyte n Mackay, Bells and a few other spirits are also at £15. Good for May bank holiday !!!

I'd rather spend a bit more and get something drinkable like lovely Highland Park 12 for £23 at Tesco
