Free postage on a £5.95 apple tree doesn't sound as good?

Buying 2 trees of the same variety will not help pollination . Golden Delicious is "partially self-fertile" so will set some fruit, but will do much better when planted with another variety in the same flowering group (4) - have a look at the list here - https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/pdfs/applepollinationgroups

We have planted an orchard last month and paid no more £5.00 for the trees. Pound stretcher were selling them at £2.99 and they are all coming on nicely.
