Etihad have some great deals from London-Heathrow to Singapore on many dates in April and May. There may be other dates further into the summer but I didn't check.
The flights to Abu Dhabi (and return) from London are operated with their A380 aircraft and flights to Singapore are on the 787 Dreamliner. The aircraft may change deepening on the dates.

Singapore is a fantastic city to visit and it is warm all year round. It rains quite a bit, but usually for very short periods of time. Etihad are one of the best I have flown with, very professional and the food and entertainment are great. Their A380 is only a year and a half old and it is well kitted out, as is their 787.

Avoid any in the Geylang district unless you have, well, needs.
I've stayed in the Grand Copthorne before and recommend it for quality. If you're into clubbing, one of the biggest clubs in Southeast Asia, Zouk, is nearby.

There are hundreds of hotels. The 'right price' is very subjective. It would be easier to give advice if you say what the 'right price' is.

Found hotels in Singapore pretty expensive. I stayed at a placed called 'The Quincy'. Very impressed with that.

agreed. hotels in s'pore are generally quite pricey and miniscule in size for what you pay. i stayed in hotel1929 in chinatown which was nice and clean.
defo worth staying somewhere close to the mrt stations (metro) to get around easily.
To book directly with Etihad it was £355, so 10% off the base fare may bring it below £338. Well spotted!

I would agree that Etihad is a good airline, it's just a shame that you'd be laying over in Abu Dhabi (unless you use the Business Lounge, which is fabulous).
When in Singapore I always stay at the Royal Plaza on Scotts, which I'd recommend. A taxi from there to Changi Airport costs around S$22.
