Diabetes in a box and also the most un-natural ingredients too. No thanks.

So many virtue signalling, nutribabble food police comments. Why are people commenting on a deal that they have no interest in other to point out that these aren't 1 of your 5 a day? I can only guess it makes them feel better about themselves and makes others aware of how perfect and flawless their diet, body and lifestyles might be. Nobody cares if you wouldn't feed something soooo unnatural to you or your special snowflakes.

Sorry but that's what the science suggests. I love cheese but I'm not addicted to fat. I love chicken but I'm not addicted to protein. I love grapes so I must be addicted to sugar?
There is no strong evidence that shows sugar is addictive specifically. You can be addicted to eating but not a single ingredient or macronutrient and this is a behavioural addiction. A physical addiction i.e. substance abuse, has specific neurobiological mechanisms.
Let's not confuse the pleasure of eating the things we like with an addiction.

I must be in the minority. I think they're delicious! I tried them for the first time in Canada, so I associate them when being on holiday. I saw them in Edinburgh Tesco for £7.50 for a box of 10, so this is a bargain price.

You could eat nothing but sugar for the next 9 months and you would die from malnutrition before you ever got diabetes. I dont understand why people with no brains and no medical knowledge insist on either trying to be funny or telling people why they think something is bad even tho their logic is clearly very flawed.

Couldn't care how much sugar or fat is in them if you're going to have one as a treat. That said, I bought the missus a pack of them and she likes them, I took one bite and spat it straight into the bin, awful chemical taste to the filling, and it lingers. If you like Hershey's Chocolate and other bad tasting US imports then you'll love these.

Taken from the diabetes uk site:
"With Type 2 diabetes, though we know sugar doesn’t directly causes Type 2 diabetes, you are more likely to get it if you are overweight. You gain weight when you take in more calories than your body needs, and sugary foods and drinks contain a lot of calories. And it's important to add that fatty foods and drinks are playing a part in our nation's expanding waistline."
Sugar is as much of a threat as any food eaten to excess. Sugar is not addictive either.

Nothing like Twinkies to get folk chatting. Either take em or leave em it's up to the individual. Did meet an American though that said they are the only thing that would survive a neuclear war by the looks of the comments they may one day start one.

Taken from the Diabetes UK site..
Diabetes is the fastest growing health threat of our times and an urgent public health issue. Since 1996, the number of people living with diabetes has more than doubled. If nothing changes, it is estimated that over five million people in the UK will have diabetes.
Obviously sugar is a big threat and rubbish like this isn't helping as it is so addictive. If cases of diabetes were dropping then you could be right.

Best comment I have seen in a long time. The bit that got me giggling was....."your special snowflake"....classic!
I would love to see some of the kitchen food cupboards in these peoples homes who preach about sugar & fat, the first thing I think is..........."People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

Personally think they're incredibly strange. Slight perfumey taste, odd texture. Look weirdly shiny too. Odd.
Take no notice of the "Trolls" on here, they just got nothing better to do.
