Get a life ... You have a weigh up risk just leaving the house. Can't put your life on hold just because of some nutters. Still more chance of being struck by lightening.

I flew back from Brussels 2 days before the metro and airport attacks after I told people "to get a life" when they warned against visiting due to high terrorist activity. So instead of getting a new life, I'll keep the one I have thanks.
You enjoy your visit though

both places now on highest alert they won't strike them twice more likely to be hit in other cities.
and as for the common sense post why give up your freedom for fear? I bet you people would happily be tracked and monitored in the guise of safety.

I better you never swim in the sea either after seeing Jaws.....
London is probably more dangerous than either Paris or Brussels at the moment because of the recent attacks both have extremely good security.

If you don't have to go, then why risk it?
It's called common sense.

"The Belgian threat level remains at Level 3 – a serious and real threat. Police operations are ongoing and there have been a number of arrests relating to the recent terrorist attacks." From here; https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/belgium

I'm happily taking the family camping around france this summer including a campsite outside of Paris with a plan to go to DLP, as will thousands of other British families this year. I don't feel I'm putting my family at risk, but then I'm not flying or using public transport except for eurotunnel. Who knows which country is next, could be us.

Which is probably why they have dropped the price.
