I purchased two last time they came on sale.. they both went faulty. lidl gave me a full refund...
I found this particular product to be poor.
its a inductive charging circuit that doesnt cut off the charging.. so it doesnt seem to intelligently charge the battery... maybe thats what killed them...

I've had two brands and neither have had intelligent charging.

If that's true, it doesn't sound very safe either !

I just bought one and it seems quite good at cleaning your teeth. Not too impressed with how you buy replacement brushes though. Lidl should sell them instead of you having to buy them from the company through mail order

I bought one a year ago: it does a great job, the replacement heads turn up every few weeks in Lidl (like everything else!).
Great value for many - as good as many that are 4x the price.
Only downside for me, is that there are three settings, and one button, so it's one click for on, three for off. Drives me crazy! (First world problem!)

One of these went off in a suitcase when I went through customs the other day. Oh the embarrasement of explaining the loud buzzing noise.

For people looking for a cheap electric toothbrush, dont buy ones with built-in batteries. They fail to hold charge after 6 months - 1yearish. This is what i bought a few years back when it was 15£. Still going strong. Rechargable batteries last a month on daily use.
