Does coke stay relatively 'good' after best before expiry?

So it goes from tasting good, then the day it goes out of date it tastes crap?

People just call it that because of the amount of sugar in it.

It's basically a choice between sugar or replacement chemicals. Since I prefer the taste of original, and works better as a mixer for me, I don't mind consuming calories.

Not within a day obviously, but the syrup and acid used don't sit well together much longer after use by, it's there for a reason.
Don't go chewing meat a few days after use by, acidic drinks are similar, however a few days is more like weeks/months. Leave a Coke a few weeks past, and have a glass fresh and a glass out of date, massive taste difference
