I've been looking at the titanium version of this watch which is about £380 on amazon at the moment. Whilst this is the stainless steel version I think £249 is a decent price.
H Samuels have a sale on with so if this is not for you there maybe something there that is.

So good that your affordability is merely to cut and paste a photo of it here. Now show us this better on your wrist to seek salvation.

Nah. That is cold too. The Van Cleef and Arpels midnight planetarium watch in this jaw-droppingly beautiful video is the one to have and will be mine when I make my second £million :stuck_out_tongue:. A snip at just £176,000
very nice watch. at the price I'll buy two, one for each wrist!

People will spend £600 for a phone. Madness. For something that'll be out of date in 6 months. All depends on what you want!

Citizen make superb watches, although I don't like this model, the one I have is a Citizen Stiletto dress watch with a sapphire glass face.

Nice watch, but mine suffered with bad scratches within matters of weeks of purchasing it.
I sent it back to Citizen and they replaced the glass once again within a couple months the bad scratches reappeared.
Would I buy a Citizen again? Probably not without doing some serious research into what type of glass it had.
And for reference - my job and life style are VERY sedentary (office job) so why this watch attracted so many blemishes when my other cheaper watches haven't is anyone's guess.

Nice watch but the fact Citizen insisted on selling this with mineral glass for the UK market makes this a no from me.

I have 3 Citizen Watches - all imported from Germany for this very reason. Its slightly silly they decide that the UK/Ireland only models have to be inferior to the models available in the rest of Europe. Thanks to the EU can order them from Germany and you are still covered by Distance selling regulations etc so can get similar (and better models) with toughened glass faces.

I've had this watch for 8 years now and going strong (titanium version - purchase over ebay £270 new for US), never had to change the battery, time etc. Wish they will make a skyhawk 3.

I had one of these briefly but the titanium version. Sent it back though as wasn't that keen on the busy face.
When I first decided I wanted a nice watch all I looked at was citizens. After doing a lot of looking and reading on watches I now just think the citizens/chronograph watches are just far too busy with features you'll just hardly ever use.

Not all are. There are some nice simpler models available, though.
The model of red arrows watch is u600, if you look for that manual you will see why the watch face is busy. I don't profess to even know half the stuff, I had to switch the summer time mode on the other day when the clocks changed
