b&m, home bargains and savers etc sell them all year round 99p-£1.49. seems to do the job without the brand name and always handy to have in!

I buy these a lot with no worry as the hospital give you the Fenpaed ones when you have a sick child so heat from me :smiley:

...you'll still get 'something for nothing' wasters getting GP prescriptions or minor ailments scheme issues scrounging much needed NHS cash - amazing how their fags and booze never diminish whilst they're crying poverty :smirk:

I completely agree, I just said my comment as it always pops up in these types of threads.
If, as a parent, you can't afford to keep a bottle of this in your medicine cupboard then there are serious concerns for the welfare of that child.
Oh, and the other comment is 'tastes yuck compared to calpol & my kid won't drink it', which tbh I can understand as I bloomin hated calpol as a child and the antibiotic liquid that tasted of banana (had a conversation with someone about this last week, randomly!). Thankfully I hardly ever had to have either, and we were a 'no blood no sympathy' kind of family :laughing:
