PLEASE NOTE.
These work on your ring mains, so if you plug one in downstairs it uses the downstairs ring mains, it will not work upstairs. There are wifi versions that will help boost signal. hope this helps.

I have the TP link 500mbps ones for the same reason and they are fantastic. The connection is totally solid and runs at about 86mps on different cicuits. I would expect these will do the job just as well as at highest quality the streaming will peak at around 17mbps from testing different games.

What model if you don't mind me asking? These are rated for 200mbps which is more than enough, but sometimes these speeds are not achievable.

thanks op,just what i needed dont need them to be 500mbs like the currys deal as its just to save me running an ethernet cable across the room,but i do need to still be able to use the socket as im short of them.
