Double oven glove. Thick, decent. Will tide me over until I work out which stupidly over priced kitty oven gloves I want to replace my old ones with. Can't understand why oven gloves are so expensive at the moment.

Are these only for double ovens or can they be used where one has a single oven?

Good price but prefer oven gloves with fingers; more flexibility and better grip. That aside, hot....

I general prefer having the ones that aren't connected, but for the price/quality I thought it would do for now  So many oven gloves are in the £15 - 20 price range. I find that a bit shocking!

Double oven gloves an accident waiting to happen. We use beer/bar towels, much more interesting.

Are they very flexible? They always look like they would be difficult to pick stuff up with. But I like the sound of long lasting and never burning.

I've got these - bought at full price though. They do not keep heat out very well. You can very quickly feel the heat coming through the gloves when taking hot items out of the oven.

I will keep an eye out thanks  Slight;y annoying, I saw some cheap on a shopping trip the other day, but didn't buy them because they looked like hand wellingtons. Not worth the 80 mile trip back to go and get them though  I'll keep an eye on Aldi
Just tried mine, I feel like a penguin  They need wearing in so they don't feel like flippers! I'm not fond of new oven gloves, but it had to be done.
Just pulled a roast chicken out of the oven. I couldn't say I felt the heat, but I didn't hang around. Moisture seems to be the thing that burns me if I get burnt through gloves.

***moneysavingkitten*** While I can't promise any thing, if you wait a little while, some to your liking might turn up at BHS soon.
