I bought one of these last time round. It's very useful but mine broke within the first week of use. Has a lot of promise but mine certainly didn't live up to expectation.

Hmmm the clamp looks small and the 90 degree plastic joint between the post and the clamp looks weak. Height is very good. At the fraction of the price of shop bought models (all over £100 ) it has to worth a punt. HOT for the price, quality? we'll see.:wink:

Definitely don't clamp a carbon frame/seatpost directly. Place some softer stuff around it to even out the pressure.

got one of these. v useful for most maintenance, has tray to hold some tools and movable clamp to hold front will still while working on eg front brakes. quite a lot cheaper than other branded stands and decent quality too
