Aberlour 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky 70cl
In stock on April 16, 2016
Soft and rounded with fruity notes of red apple
Sherried character and fruity aromas balanced with a rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness.
Golden amber with hints of ruby colour
Warming and lingering - sweet and slightly spicy
As the mellowed spirits within are combined to deliver a subtly balanced flavour
2015 Silver Outstanding Medal Winner - International Wine & Spirits Competition
IWSC Awards Tasting Note: Super, inviting nose with kumquat, orange and lemon then rich malt and vanilla. Big but dignified entry into the mouth with immediate flood of the palate. Flavour distribution brings ripe fruit, lots of spice both sweet and peppery. Beautifully textured. Dry, clean finish.

Picked up a bottle of this at the weekend from Booths for £26. I really easy, fruity whiskey that's surprisingly smooth for the money
Got one in Asda about 2 weeks ago on sale at £20, pointless now I know, but just thought I would share it. :stuck_out_tongue:

The 12 year for 20 quid? I've only ever seen the 10 year in Asda for that price. Just wanted to confirm so I know to keep my eye out more in future

To be honest, I'm not sure, I gave it as a present, it may well have been 10 year.
