I stayed at a similar place in Vendee a number of years ago. Tent is basic, but dry, cold at night and usual bugs running about. We stayed in August and the weather was good, wouldn't stay in a tent again though. Haven't been to france since the Euro dropped in the exchange rate. It was a constant 1.44 for years.

I don't get this. So I buy a. Voucher for £49 and then book up and at checkout add the code these guys send. Will it then be nothing or just take off £145 of the price. Don't make sense. If you go in high season does it still cost £49. A bit misleading.

Eurocamp holidays are fabulous they have some really great sites and make for a really affordable family holiday.
They have tents or static mobile homes of varying sizes, we have done both and both are good and we have also staying in one of their Safari tents which were lovely.

Vendee is a fantastic part of France and weather tends to be very good as it is reasonably close to Spain. The best crossing is Portsmouth to Caen or maybe St Marlo but will cost around £250 plus you would need to factor in an overnight stop unless you plan on travelling for at least 10 hours even if you live close to Portsmouth. All that is part of the fun for me but it would spoil it for some people. All in all a good deal though, heat added.

Vendee has a microclimate and is 2nd sunniest part of France after the Med Coast in the south
Its not really close to Spain, the part the parks are in is classed as Northern France
Yes St Malo is closest french port BUT the crossing is 8-10 hours depending on ferry, its a 6 hour drive from calais if you can drive properly or about 5 from (Newhaven ) Dieppe.
Its 400 miles (roughly) from Calais,If you need an overnight stop you should FLY instead.
