Google Play are doing 75% off any album at the minute. May be selected users only, but scroll down the music page and look for the promotional ribbon! You have to click the ribbon for the promotion to be applied to your account. The discount is applied at checkout, and you can redeem by May 5th.

A handy tip from me. If you don't see the 75% album discount banner on your account, log in to another Google account on the Google Play Music shop page on a PC (assuming you or a family member have another account) and then right mouse click on the banner and copy the link address (this action will vary from browser to browser). Then return to your original account, logged in to the Google Play Music shop page and paste the copied link address into your address bar.
I have done this on a PC, using Chrome and it applies the discount to my Google account, even if I didn't see the banner. If you look at this link address it appears to include a discount code, which I assume is unique and generated one per account that they wish to do this offer for.
You cannot stack the codes and can only apply one 75% discount per account. Shame really, because in a previous 50% deal you could apply these codes as many times you wanted to on a single account. This was great at the time, as I was the administrator for a number of Google accounts at work, so could use all their free codes on my main personal Google account. Google have since amended this to stop people being able to apply multiple codes to a single account.

Not true - I buy stuff regularly from Play, and got the 75% off music yesterday, and also saw the banner for a film rental as well.

Heat from me. Just bought an £8 album I've been after for ages, for £2. That £2 came free from Google servers too, do a totally free album. Winner!

Now I look on PC or phone and I get 75% cheaper prices shown when I click on an album, but not on the album list.
So, check on other devices, and also check by clicking on an album not just viewing prices in a list.
