I'd strongly suggest reading the reviews of Tesco home insurance before buying.
A few years ago I did, was burgled only two weeks later and glad I'd gone with a much better policy even though it cost a fair bit more.

I put the promotion code into Compare the market and it said it was accepted at the quote stage. I called Tesco Bank to check and purchase the policy and the points had been added to the policy already. Great deal, and one of the cheapest insurance policies out there!

Somebody on another forum did it online and got the points.
I've given it a go.
The leaflet I got says"search Tesco home insurance for a quote"which seems to confirm this.
Points should arrive around 2 weeks plus after the policy becomes live,once the cooling off period expires.

Does it mention the points during the quote? I've just done it putting the code in and it seemed to accept it but no mention anywhere of the extra points.
