Oh no, you have to auto renew at the price of £4 per month?! Lol! I assume you've never cancelled your auto renew before, as you'll know there's very little 'hassle' involved. This is a great deal, I just got an XBOX One so this is perfect for me to get me started. Although I'm dreading the hassle of cancelling the auto renew...

I remember the time when these stacked. 3 years of live for 36 quid. Mine only ran out about 6 months ago. Good times...

That couple of clicks to cancel auto-renew is far too much hassle, I quite agree!

It's a great price if you don't have gold, but it's getting to the stage now where there are so many cheap XBL gold offers for NEW customers that there can't be that many non members left surely, especially considering the PS4/Xbox One are pretty hobbled experiences without the requisite membership.
This deal would see more heat from me if it was £1 for a month for loyal members wanting to extend their existing Gold but nope, always new customers get the goodies just like every other service, it really does pay to be disloyal it seems...

Usually get this when my gold expires, they want card details and it renews if you forget. Personally I prefer to save the hassle and buy 12 months prepaid

cold as you have to agree to renew monthly at the usual price of £4 and only month one is £1 so it auto renews unless you cancel. That much hassle to save £3. if times are that hard this site can't help you

saw this deal 4 days ago on the dashboard. didn't want to enter my card details on the Xbox so went into my account on the browser and was offered 1 month for free or 1 month for £1. took the free one.

Did it take you long to come to that decision? I would have slept on it.
