I've been playing it round a friends and it's really good, if you're a uber geek you'll complete it in no time and rank up super quick. Personally I like to play the odd hour here and there and it satisfies my "head poppin" needs :-) Can't wait to play it on my own Xbox soon! It reminds of "The Strain" TV Series, it's got a good atmosphere and the story is OK.

The game is average. Very playable and fun but nothing new. It is also difficult which is a good thing. I am only on level 5. The free roam feels a bit empty as it is instanced unlike Destiny where you will come across other players and you can jump in and help them with their firefight. The Division is affectively a single player game until you join or create a team in matchmaking, which is very good and easy to do.

The cover system and gunplay is not as good as Rainbow 6: Vegas. If it was you would have a better game. I haven't tried the Dark Zone but from some of the YouTube vids, I have watched, there seems to be a fair amount of dicks.

I am not fond of the 'bullet sponge' characteristics, like a lot of people, of the bad guys. However saying that I don't know how else you could do it in this sort of game. The AI is pretty good.

Personally I think the game is very good. Having said that, RPG's are my kind of game and it's a 3rd person shooter/RPG.

The game is both for solo and multiplayer coop. You can set difficulty on missions and the harder ones require team coop, ideally tank, medic and 2 dps (4 max in group). It is a loot type game where you run instances and raid them for loot. As sneay1977 says, the hard/challenging instances, the NPC's are bullet sponges so you can go through a few clips before you kill them but the AI are smart and can flank your team if you're not prepared.

There is a crafting system where you can build your own equipment. Also skills tree where you build your own play style. These skills aren't permanent so you can re-equip skills and play a different role if you wanted to.

Darkzone (the PVP area) is a love/hate relationship. You can meet people who help you while you're pinned by NPC's or you can meet "rogues" who kill you as you're about to extract your loot.
