Ridiculously cheap external drive, but also can be taken apart to get to the internal drive. I have had two such drives running in my NAS for the last year or so.
They contain a WD Green 5400rpm drive.
FREE DELIVERY & 6 month warranty (unless you open the case to get the drive inside out - then no warranty)
If you buy two, you can use the code WDSTORECPN to get £10 off - making it £100 for two 3TB drives!
Not true, I had been very happy with them ordered twice with no problem

WD outlet deals should be banned because they don't ship and it takes ages to get your money back

Ordered 20+ unit and use the code for £10 off no issue here
Worth pointing out
1) The drives inside at WD Greens
2) The controller is locked to this make and model of drive! Even WD Blacks do not work!!
3) The controller format the drive in a wild manner so you cannot take the drive out of the unit WITH DATA ON and read the data with the drive not in the enclosure. No problem with the drive in a PC / MAC if you format it, just don't expect any data to survive!
Shame on WD for locking the controller it prevents reuse and increase landfill

I've ordered a drive from them before and it arrived within a few days.
I also notice they have 5TB recertified external discs for £90, which may be of interest to some. Personally I have gone for the 5TB Toshiba external drive which via flubit came in at £97 a couple of weeks ago.

Be aware that this means you have no warranty on the drives.

He meant if you take them apart to get the internal drive out. It means you void the warranty.
