Yes but Aldi cows are not cuddled throughout their life.

Suggested method for cooking - it may sound stupid but whenever I have bought these or similar I cannot often get them to cook just enough without them turning into very small cannon balls!
Yes I can cook burgers and other meat without this problem:)

cook them gently in a frying pan in a mixture of oil and butter. Drain and put in a dish to keep warm in the oven. mix in some flour to the remaining oil until you get a nice paste, add salt / pepper / water / mustard and make a gravy. Serve up with logan berry sauce and chips - nom!!!!

Last lot of Waitrose burgers were so poor I would have taken them back if I had been nearer to a Waitrose store. As only £4 was involved I could not be bothered. Also found some of the Simply M & S bacon to be awful, swimming in the white gunge that cheap bacon gives off. They are not unique in this.I would be grateful if anyone knows of decent streaky bacon sold by supermarkets. Butchers own bacon at 3 times the price does seem better. Get what you pay for ??

Sainsburys Taste the Difference smoked back & streaky is good. No white gunge.

Thanks for the Sainsbury's tip. Will give it a try. Was very shocked to see it in something from M&S. Not sure why they add it, as it spoils the bacon for a tiny gain in weight. Packets should be made to carry a Gunge Included label.
